Trademark assets

Grist’s logo comes in three approved versions. Use the right one for the background you’re placing it on, and keep it exactly as depicted — no recoloring, no cropping.

Primary	Secondary	Tertiary
The full-color icon paired with the navy wordmark. This is the default — use it on white and light backgrounds wherever you can.	A white and gray icon with a white wordmark, set on a dark navy bar. Use this version on dark or busy backgrounds where the full-color icon loses contrast.	An all-black version of the icon and wordmark, for single-color contexts — stamps, engraving, or anywhere else color can’t reproduce.

Do

• Include clear space around the logo, equal to at least one grid cell of the icon on every side.
• Test the logo for visibility against its background before you ship it.

Don’t

• Don’t create any color combinations other than the ones shown above.
• Don’t crop any part of the logo.
